Senior Advisor, Non-communicable Diseases in the Bureau for Global Health at USAID
Adam Slote is Coordinator for Digital Health and Senior Advisor for Non-communicable Diseases in the Bureau for Global Health at USAID. Prior to his current appointment, Adam served as the Senior Advisor for Strategic Planning and Private Sector Alliances, the Global Health Team Lead for Asia and the Middle East, and the Senior Advisor for Child Health. Prior to coming to USAID, Dr. Slote worked for the United Nations Volunteers program as the Essential Health Services Advisor in the Timor-Leste Ministry of Health, and as a Public Health Manager for the International Rescue Committee.
Adam has a BA from Yale University, an MD from the University of California, San Francisco, and an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is trained as a pediatrician, and during his clinical career worked for the Indian Health Service.
